# Connect Tripletex Account

Follow the steps below to install the app, generate your Tripletex API token, and connect your account to Shopify.

## Installation

    Open **Shopify-Tripletex by Cloudify** from the Shopify App Store, select **Install**, and click **"Let's Get Started"** to authorize the installation.

  <Step title="Connect to Tripletex">
    Click **"Connect to Tripletex"**. You'll be prompted to enter your Tripletex API token.

    Before generating a token, note the following:

    <Warning>
      The **integration module must be activated** in Tripletex before you can generate a token. Without that module, the connection process cannot continue.
    </Warning>

    **To generate your Tripletex API token:**

    1. **Log in to Tripletex** — If needed, switch to the correct company by clicking the company name in the header.
    2. **Open the employee record** — Go to **Company → Employees** in the left menu. Open the employee whose access rights will be used for this integration.
    3. **Open API access** — Inside the employee record, go to **API access** and click **New token**.
    4. **Configure the token** — Select **Adapted setup** and **All entitlements**. Enter the application name as **Cloudify\_Shopify**, then enter a token name and click **Create token**.
    5. **Copy the token** — Copy the generated token and click **OK**.

    <Warning>
      Store the token securely as soon as it is created. Tripletex will not show it again.
    </Warning>

    Once you have the token, paste it into the token field in the app and click **Connect Tripletex**.

    <Note>
      Make sure you are connecting with the token from the correct Tripletex company account. Administrative privileges are required to complete this step.
