# Invoice/Quote Settings

> Configure how invoices and quotes are automatically created in Xero based on your Pipedrive pipeline stages, and map the right fields for accurate invoicing.

## Setting Up Invoice/Quote Sync Rules

  <Step title="Navigate to Invoice/Quote sync rules">
    Go to the **Invoice/Quote sync rules** tab in your integration settings and click **Add Pipeline** to create a new rule.

  <Step title="Define the three key elements for each rule">
    For each rule, configure the following:

    * **Pipeline** — select the Pipedrive pipeline you want to trigger from.
    * **Deal Stage** — choose the specific stage in the pipeline that will trigger the integration.
    * **Generate** — decide whether to create a draft invoice or a draft quote in Xero.

    You can add multiple rules for different pipelines or stages as needed.

    After setting up your rules, save your changes to apply them.

## Invoice/Quote Field Mappings

**Why Invoice/Quote Field Mappings Matter**

* **Guarantee accuracy** — correct field mapping is crucial for ensuring accurate invoices in Xero.

### Setting Up Invoice/Quote Field Mappings

  <Step title="Navigate to Invoice/Quote field mappings">
    Go to the **Invoice/Quote field mappings** tab in your integration settings. The mappings are divided into three main areas:

    * **Notes and References**
    * **Delivery Address**
    * **Billing Address**

    For each Xero field, the default Pipedrive field will be shown (if applicable). Click **Edit** to change the mapping or **Delete** to remove it.

    Pay special attention to these key mappings:

    * **Notes Headline** *(mapped to Invoice headline in Pipedrive)*
    * **References** *(mapped to Purchase order number in Pipedrive)*
    * **Date** *(Invoice issue date)*
    * Delivery and Billing address fields
