# Connect Exact Online Account

Follow the steps below to install the app, authorize your Exact Online account, and connect it to Shopify.

## Installation

    Open **Shopify-Exact Online by Cloudify** from the Shopify App Store, select **Install**, and click **"Let's Get Started"** to authorize the installation.

  <Step title="Connect to Exact Online">
    Click **"Connect to Exact Online"**. You'll be redirected to the Exact Online login page to authorize the connection

    Log in with your Exact Online credentials and click **Allow** to grant the app access to your account.

      Make sure you are logging in with the correct Exact Online account. Administrative privileges are required to complete this step.

    Once authorized, your connected account email will appear on the connection screen. You can disconnect and reconnect a different account at any time before your first sync.

    **Select your Division** — After connecting, select the Exact Online division (administration) you want to sync Shopify orders into.

  <Step title="You're All Set">
    Once your account is connected and division is selected, you'll land on the final setup screen confirming everything is configured and ready.

    From here you have two ways to start:

    * **Test with Sample Data** — Run a demo sync with sample data to see how a Shopify order flows into Exact Online before going live.
    * **Open Dashboard** — Go live with your real orders. Your first real sync activates automation, and every future order is handled automatically.

    ### Smart settings (auto-configured)

    The integration ships with sensible defaults so you can start syncing immediately. Change any of these by clicking **Customize**.

    | When do I create an invoice? | When Created (order created in Shopify)        |
    | How do I find a customer?    | Match by Customer Name                         |
    | How do I find a product?     | Match by Title                                 |
    | How is tax handled?          | Automatically detected from your Shopify order |
