Customer Sync Settings

How do you want to match your customers?

Select the fields to use for customer identification between Stripe and e-conomic.
Tip: Choose unique identifiers like email or customer number for optimal matching.
Sync Process:
  1. The system searches for the customer in e-conomic using your chosen fields.
  2. If found, that customer record is used for the sync.
  3. If not found, a new customer is created in e-conomic.

How should we handle customer numbers?

Select your preference for managing customer numbers:
  • Let e-conomic create the customer number (Recommended)
  • Use the customer number from Stripe

If e-conomic creates the number, where should it be saved in Stripe? Confirm your selection and click on “Save

Note: Letting e-conomic create the number ensures uniqueness across your e-conomic system.

What are your default settings for new customers?

Configure default values for new customers created in e-conomic from Stripe data:
  • Payment Terms
  • Customer Group
  • VAT Zone
  • Currency
  • Invoice Layout
These defaults can be adjusted for individual customers in e-conomic as needed.****

How should customer data fields be mapped?

Define the mapping between Stripe and e-conomic customer fields: Key points:
  • Common fields are pre-mapped for convenience.
  • Match similar field types for accurate data transfer (e.g., email to email).
  • Click on “Edit” on each row to choose a preferred field from Stripe.
